Last Call

Thursday night's dinner was probably our last experience of soup for the season ('cause now it'll start to become Chili-time!).  I had the makings of this recipe from Cooking Light, and its one of our favorites.  Really quick and easy, but tastes like you let it cook for many hours.

Corn and Fingerling Potato Chowder with Bacon

Just make sure you make extra bacon for snacking!

Extra Bacon


Immersion Blender
(elminates the need to transfer soup to the regular blender)

Tonight, Adam and I are headed out for "Cliche Date Night" at Longhorns!

  1. I need to check into an immersion blender! That would take so much pain out of making a ton of the dishes we make.
